Bangkok Suvarnabhumi meet & greet: what to know before you fly

Suvarnabhumi (BKK) is Bangkok's main international airport, around 30 km east of the city centre. It is one large terminal with several concourses, so the walk from the aircraft to immigration can be long. Arrivals queues can build when several long-haul flights land together, which is when a personal escort helps most.

Arriving at Suvarnabhumi

Your greeter meets you at the agreed point and guides you through immigration and baggage reclaim, then to your chauffeur. Share your flight number and passenger names when you book so we can plan around your arrival.

Getting into Bangkok

The road journey to central Bangkok typically takes 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the hour and the route. The Airport Rail Link takes roughly half an hour to Phaya Thai, but you carry your own bags and still need onward transport. See our Bangkok service.

Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang?

Bangkok has a second airport, Don Mueang (DMK), mainly used by low-cost carriers and some domestic flights. Check which airport your ticket uses.

Festivals and peak days

Songkran, the Thai New Year water festival, runs each year from 13 to 15 April and changes how the city moves. See our Songkran guide.
